We take data security seriously.
The GetOnSite platform is hosted in the cloud. All data is encrypted at rest with AES-256, block-level storage encryption. The servers are hosted by AWS which is a best in class and a leader in the field for secure cloud storage. The application is served over HTTPS which is SSL encrypted in transit.
Our cloud storage partners have dedicated intrusion detection teams that monitor our networks for any illegitimate activity. Code and data uploaded to the servers are systematically scanned for viruses, malicious code and vulnerabilities. The servers that GetOnSite runs on, by virtue of being cloud servers, are systematically maintained, always up to date and patched with the latest security patches and fixes.
Our platform also comes with the latest protections for CSRF attacks, Injection attacks, XSS attacks and many other common attacks.
Data will only be accessed on request from the customer and all our access is audited and monitored. Whilst a customer relationship is in place, you can decide what retention periods you would like.
Once the relationship has ended, we download and offer you a full copy of the remaining data within 6 months. After 6 months the data is expunged.
Updates and enhancements to the GetOnSite platform are scheduled and deployed quarterly. These updates can be new features and/or back-office security updates and efficiency refinements – making sure the program and the databases are running efficiently in the back office.
Data storage in the cloud is a big bonus for us across our sites, we are not duplicating everything, and everyone that needs to has access to the information 24/7
