We’re always looking to keep our system up to date to provide exceptional user experience, and last year, despite the pandemic, it was no different.
Here are a few of our major system improvements in 2020:
Innovations and improvements for GetOnSite won’t stop here. Our next planned system upgrades are due to be released early spring 2021.

We talked to John Lewis, Construction Manager at Henstaff, to learn how the award-winning company increased productivity and eliminated labour intensive record keeping by moving to online inductions in 2020.
The utilisation of modern technology to increase efficiency, reduce costs and mitigate risk is being widely adopted across a range of sectors. Working with experienced and trusted providers to supply digital solutions, businesses can benefit from operational rewards.
In a look ahead at what 2021 holds for the construction industry, Nick Sacke from Comms365 commented, “…the construction industry must set aside outdated processes and management methods, and instead, embrace digital advances and adopt smarter ways of working and technology to bounce back stronger in 2021. Businesses have two choices: either embrace the cultural and digital shift, or risk falling behind and failing.”
In December, there were 26,000 job vacancies available in the construction industry, back up to pre-coronavirus levels. Many of the jobs have been uploaded to a recruitment platform launched by the Government and construction industry groups, with new roles being added every week. Candidates can search for jobs on the Construction TRS website.
Sarah Beale, Chief Executive of the Construction Industry Training Board commented “With the level of Government investment in infrastructure, new homes and retrofitting for reducing carbon, we are expecting a big recruitment drive in the New Year.”
